TTA RAPID is one of the easiest osteotomy techniques and probably the most rapid for treating cranial cruciate ligament ruptures and one hence of the most attractive TTA techniques on the market. The new TTA RAPID Tiny System is specially made fort he very small or short-legged patients.
There is only very limited special equipment needed for the technique. During the course there will be an introduction about the clinical relevance of a cranial cruciate ligament rupture at first. The next step is the introduction into the TTA Rapid technique. Finally there is enough time to do hands on training to apply the theory.
TTA RAPID can not only fix a cranial cruciate ligament rupture but also a simultaneous patella luxation.
The Cora Based Leveling Osteotomy (CBLO) is a new approach and technique to treat the cranial cruciate ligament rupture in dogs. The CBLO is a corrective osteotomy technique that similar to TPLO changes the position of the Tibial Plateau. The CBLO however targets to address challenges like secondary (late) meniscal injuries, stress on caudal cruciate ligament, reduction of axis shift and secondary translation as well as mismatch of articulating surfaces.
The Rita Leibinger CBLO system incorporates anatomically shaped implants made of Titanium for best biocompatibility.
During the course the theoretical knowledge of cranial cruciate ligament ruptures and the indications for a CBLO will be presented. Afterwards there will be time for the hands-on practical part to practice the technique end experience the new implants.
This hands-on practical course will give you the opportunity to practise techniques discussed in the lecture and increase confidence levels performing CBLO, TTA Rapid + patella Luxation/ Patella Luxation.
